So. The other day, my friend tried to buy alcohol past midnight on Saturday and was refused. Wtf. I thought it was "that business day" type of thing- as in it's Saturday until that place closes. But nooooooo. Which is silly. Why is there no alcohol sales on Sunday? Because of Christianity. Sunday is the Sabbath- therefore no alcohol sales. This makes sense.... EXCEPT for separation of church and state. Yknow, the whole debate raging in our country ALL the time. I think we should be able to sell/buy alcohol on whatever day we want. Seriously. What if MY religious rituals and customs also occur on Sunday but require wine or such??
Religiously influenced laws are hypocritical.
